Final Score: LA Clippers 99, Memphis 73
Memphis, TN (Sports Network) - The Los Angeles Clippers have proven they can win at home, now they'll have a chance to show what they can do on the road.
And they passed the first test of a brutal road stretch, even without the services of superstar point guard Chris Paul.
Jamal Crawford and Matt Barnes netted 16 points apiece in the Clippers' 99-73 rout of the Memphis Grizzlies.
Paul sat out with a bruised knee.
Filling in for Paul, Eric Bledsoe donated 14 points for Los Angeles, which snapped a brief two-game road losing streak and will play -- including Monday -- 15 of its next 19 games away from Staples Center.
"Missing the best point guard in the world in Chris Paul, we all had to play collectively and step it up, and I thought we did a good job of that," Crawford said.
The Clippers, who just had their 13-game home winning streak snapped Saturday against the Orlando Magic, hold an 18-4 record in Los Angeles compared to an 11-5 mark on the road.
Zach Randolph had 15 points and 12 boards to lead the Grizzlies, who played without forward Rudy Gay as he attended the funeral of his grandmother.
The Clippers had already opened up a 15-point cushion early in the second, but Memphis charged back with an 11-2 run to pull within 36-30 midway through the period.
Los Angeles, though, outscored the hosts 17-4 the rest of the frame and entered the break with a 53-34 edge. Crawford had six points during the surge, while Bledsoe chipped in five.
The Clippers led 73-52 after three and the margin peaked at 27 in the fourth.
"I said before the game that they're the best team in the West, maybe the best team in the league right now," Memphis head coach Lionel Hollins said of the Clippers.
Los Angeles took a 25-19 advantage after a quarter of play ... Wayne Ellington tallied 11 points and six rebounds for Memphis ... The Clippers held the Grizzlies to a 30.3 percent clip (27-of-89) from the floor.
